Call for works, AE 4 2018-19

After 'Asia-Europe III', I started organizing the next 'Asia-Europe 4' exhibition for the end of 2018.

 The exhibition is based on the innovation of cultural, regional and traditional textile techniques. The emphasis is on the research and development of technology and on presentation. Works must be non-figurative, non-wearable art and must be realized in a single technique. The colours can only be used to highlight the technique, however, the colour is never a determinating factor in the work.
Convinced of the ingenuity and creativity of the European artists, I intend to accept works produced by traditional Asian techniques only created by Asia artists.

If you are, could you please send me a first proposition to exhibit: style, technique, materials, dimensions, number of pieces (series) and must be representative of your artwork.

Asia-Europe5 have been open 2 months in Kouvola Art Museum Poikilo, Finland. Still a bit more than a month to visit the exhibition that has been said "interesting", "wau", "deep with meanings", "surprising"... 30. Asia-Europe 5 opens in Poikilo Museum , Kouvola, Finland 29. Sept, 2021 at 18-20. This exhibition presents works by 36 artists with backgrounds in Asian and European countries. AE5 is a continuation of series of exhibitions started by Erny Piret and will tour in 4 European countries until 2023. The exhibition is curated by Marika Szaraz and Raija Jokinen. Selected works of art have been made with materials and techniques connected to textile tradition but the perspective is updated and fresh basing to personal research and innovations.
