Asia-Europe III opens in Lithuania Asia-Europe III exhibition opens for the 3rd and last time in the beautiful museum of Janina Monkute-Marks Museum-Gallery , Kedainiai, Lithuania on 12th Jan, 2018 at 5 pm. "When fiber becomes arts" stated Christian Laki in WZ magazine 2. Juni, 2023, after seeing Asia-Europe 5 exhibition in Deutsches Textilmuseum. The exhibition is open until 3. Sept, 2023 and it's the last show on a tour or AE5. We have received very nice feedback, thank you for that.
Asia-Europe 5 opens in Poikilo Museum , Kouvola, Finland 29. Sept, 2021 at 18-20. This exhibition presents works by 36 artists with backgrounds in Asian and European countries. AE5 is a continuation of series of exhibitions started by Erny Piret and will tour in 4 European countries until 2023. The exhibition is curated by Marika Szaraz and Raija Jokinen. Selected works of art have been made with materials and techniques connected to textile tradition but the perspective is updated and fresh basing to personal research and innovations.
